Chas Melvin and Soren Anderson scored 16 points each, leading four double figure scorers for the Perham boys’ basketball team in their 66-59 victory over the Bemidji Lumberjacks on Thursday night in Bemidji. Alex Ohm and Micah Thompson added 11 points apiece. Thompson finished with 10 rebounds to complete a double-double.
Perham shot 59% (23-39) from the floor and made 50% (10-20) from beyond the arc. Anderson led the Yellowjackets with 6 assists and Thompson dished out 4.
Bemidji was led by 25 points and 11 rebounds from Gavin Luksik. Sam Wilson had 19 points and Isaac Severts added 10. Bemidji made 40% (23-58) of their field goal attempts.
Perham ends the regular season with a 14-10 record. They will begin Section 8AA playoff action next Thursday against a yet to be determined opponent. Seeding results will be announced on Sunday.
