The Henning Hornets took the long trek to Twin Valley on Tuesday night where they handed the Titans of Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal a 54-44 loss. They were outscored 28-25 in the second half but had a 13 point halftime lead. Henning shot just 33% (15-45) from the field.
“This was a physical battle on top of a long road trip for our guys,” stated Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We were happy to come out of Twin Valley with a win. Mason Hammer shot the ball well in the first half which helped us get out to an early lead.”
Hammer led the Hornets with 25 points and 12 rebounds. He also blocked two shots. Tanner Arndt added 12 points and 6 assists. Kale Misegades contributed 6 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds and 5 steals and Tyson Misegades chipped in with 7 points.
Henning (21-4) is at Ashby on Friday night to close out the regular season.
