Nolan Fettig and Mason McGrane got the Cardinals off on the right foot picking up two pins to start. Blaze Nelson and Mason Teaser also picked up pins in their bouts. Kelly Johnson wrestled a phenomenal match against a quality opponent, but his opponent was gifted two points with a very controversial call on the edge of the mat and we ended up losing 2-1. Perham kept the momentum winning that match and the Cards couldn’t stop the bleeding. No excuses though, we got out wrestled and will need to bounce back in preparation for the individual section tournament next week in Melrose Friday and Saturday.
