It was all Hancock on Tuesday night as the Lady Owls recorded an 82-31 road win over Dawson-Boyd. Hancock led a 47-18 edge at the half. The Owls shot 42% (32-76) for the game, making 52.6% (10-19) of their 3’s. The also held a 45-26 advantage in the rebounding column.
Leaders for the Lady Owls were Carlee Hanson (22 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assists), Kaitlyn Staples (20 points, 3 assists, 4 steals), Kaitlyn Rohloff (13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals) and Karleigh Rohloff (10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals). Brooke VerSteeg chipped in with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists.
Hancock held Dawson-Boyd to just 26.5% (13-49) from the field. They made only 21.4% (3-14) of their shots form beyond the arc.
Hancock (21-1) won for an eighth straight time. They will host Canby on Thursday and play at Princeton on Friday.
