Trojans Ride 34-11 Halftime Lead to 63-46 HOL Win Over Frazee

Barnesville took a commanding 34-11 halftime lead in Frazee on Saturday, however, the Hornets came back strong in the second half and the Trojans held on for a 63-46 Heart O’ Lakes Conference boys’ basketball victory.

Barnesville hit 38% (26-68) of their field goal attempts and only 16% (38-18) of their 3’s.  Frazee shot 38% (21-55) of their shots, but hit just 2-of-12 from beyond the arc.

Barnesville was led by Kaden Zenzen (15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals), Noah Krause (11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals) and Wyatt Suter (9 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals).  Tate Inniger added 8 boards and Zach Bredman finished with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

Barnesville (11-7) will host Hawley in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference matchup on Tuesday.

Frazee (3-15) has lost eight straight games.  They will play a road contest against DGF on Tuesday.
