Section 6A Team Wrestling Tournament action begins on Tuesday night with the top four seeds hosting quarterfinal round matchups. The semifinals will be at six o’clock on Friday at New York Mills, followed by the championship match at 7:30pm. The winner will advance to the Class A State Wrestling Team Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on March 3.
West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville is the top seeded team. The Knights will host #8 Wadena-Deer Creek in Barrett on Tuesday night at 7:00pm.
Second seeded Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie will entertain #7 Pelican Rapids at 7:00pm Tuesday in Parkers Prairie.
Number three seed Border West will face sixth-seeded Ottertail Central at 7:00pm Tuesday in Graceville and fourth-seeded New York Mills is home to Osakis.
