The DGF Rebels led 35-32 at halftime, but the Barnesville boys' basketball team fought back to take a 49-48 lead with six minutes left in the game.  DGF finished strong, including a 10-point run, as they won the HOL contest 64-57 on Friday night in Barnesville.

Owen Leach poured in a game high 20 points to lead DGF and Drew Sheeley added 11.

Barensville was led by Tate Inniger with 19 points and Noah Krause with 9.

"I thought we played well, especially on the defensive side of the ball where we mixed things up throughout the game," said Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz of the Trojans.  "When they needed it their key players stepped up and got it done, and we couldn't answer it."

The Rebels (10-4, 6-1 HOL) will host Pelican Rapids on Thursday.

Barnesville (9-7, 3-5 HOL) will travel to Twin Valley to face Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Tuesday before returning home Thursday against Breckenridge and Saturday against Frazee.
