The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors got off to a great start on Saturday afternoon as they built a 43-21 halftime lead and went on to post a 70-51 victory over Park Christian in Moorhead. The Warriors hit 47.4% of their field goal attempts and made 12-of-27 (44.4%) 3’s.
“We played really good defense to open the game and got to a 26-4 lead early,” commented Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Head Coach Jordon Roos. “We ran the floor well and passed the ball very well offensively getting us a lot of open looks from inside and outside.”
Leaders for the Warriors were Clint Determan (24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals), Dylan Bainbridge (12 points, 8 assists) and Caden Spilde (11 points, 3 rebounds). Brayden Hofer distributed 3 assists.
Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (12-4) will host Hillcrest on Monday night.
