Otter Girls Score 11 Goals on 63 Shots in Win at Prairie Center

Maddie Hulter had a hat trick and a playmaker (3 goals, 3 assists) as the Fergus Falls girls’ hockey team put 63 shots on goal in an 11-3 victory over Prairie Centre on Friday night at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena.  Tyra Skjeret added 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) and Piper Andrews had 4 points on 2 goals and 2 assists.

Lizzy Moxness scored a pair of goals, Desirae Maack recorded a pair of assists and Rylynn Krein had a goal and an assist.  Hannah Johnson chipped in with a goal and five players, Gabby Brimhall, Marilyn Karsnia, Ava Werner, Jaden Bye and Talia Nelson each contributed an assist.

There were no penalties assessed to either side.

Ana Jyrkas stopped 12 of the 15 shots she faced in the Fergus Falls goal.

Natasha Ludwig scored two goals and Allie Lemke had a goal and an assist to lead Prairie Centre.

Fergus Falls (18-4-2) will close out their regular season schedule with a road game against Brainerd-Little Falls on Tuesday night.
