Hancock Girls Go to 16-1

Hancock held Ortonville to 2 first half points and won their game against the Trojans on Thursday night by the score of 89-15.  The Owls shot 51.5% (34-66) from the field and made 41% (7-17) of their 3’s.  Hancock had 22 assisted baskets in the game and came up with 27 steals.

Carlee Hanson scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures.  She also had 5 steals.  Kaitlyn Rohloff (14 points, 7 assists, 8 steals), Misti Zempel (13 points, 8 rebound, 4 steals), Rylee Hanson (11 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 rebounds) and Brooke VerSteeg (10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals) were all in double digits.  Kaitlyn Staples chipped in with 8 points and Karleigh Rohloff added 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Hancock (16-1) will host Hillcrest on Tuesday night.

Ortonville plays their fourth straight road game on Saturday afternoon against Brandon-Evansville.
