"Moral victories are getting very old,” said West Central Area Head Coach Eric Schoenbauer. “They're a good team and we yet again had our chances. We just need to learn how to finish off these close games. It can be something that unites us or it can be something that leads us to a purgatory of mediocrity."

Claire Stark (13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 block) was also in double digits.  Addison Staples snared 7 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and recorded a pair of blocked shots. Macy Grosz (5 points, 2 assists), Jayden Styba (3 rebounds, 3 deflections) and Elizabeth Rustan (2 points, 2 blocks) also contributed.

West Central Area (9-5) has a home game with Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Friday and another home game on Saturday at 1:30 against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.
