Hawley once again placed four players in double figures on Monday night as the Nuggets recorded a 78-63 Heart O’ Lakes Conference win over the Barnesville Trojans.

Brevin Stoa led the Nuggets with 22 points.  Sam Senske had 15, Brady Gratton 14 and Hayden Grani 11.

“This game was everything we expected it to be,” said Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa.  “It was a very physical HOL battle played in front of a frenzied HOL crowd.  Our guys did a great job of staying composed, and playing through adversity late in the second half when we had some foul trouble and Barnesville went on their run.  We made key defensive stops late and stretched the lead back out and finished the game strong.”

Kaden Zenzen scored a team high 20 points.  Wyatt Suter and Noah Krause added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Barnesville (9-6, 3-4 HOL) will host DGF on Friday night.

Hawley (11-3, 3-2 HOL) is at Breckenridge on Friday.
