Perham Falls to Rockford at Target Center

The Rockford Rockets and Perham Yellowjackets met at Target Center on Saturday with Rockford handing Perham a 61-55 loss.  Rockford hit 58% (25-43) of their field goal attempts and Perham shot 53.5% (23-43) from the field.

Derek Pepin led Rockford with 26 points and Samuel Zilmer contributed 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Leaders for Perham were Micah Thompson (20 points, 6 rebounds) and Soren Anderson (19 points, 3 rebounds).  Alex Ohm had a team high 3 assists and Chas Melvin added 6 points and 3 boards.

The Yellowjackets (8-5) will host Breckenridge on Tuesday at 4:30pm in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest.
