Lady Spartans Suffer 68-65 Road Loss to Trinity Bible

Trinity Bible College held off the M State lady Spartans on Thursday night for a 68-65 win in Ellendale, North Dakota.  It was the fourth game in six days for M State, including their third road game.  M State falls to 7-9 with the loss.  They will host Western Tech Saturday at 1:00pm.

Emily Dehler led M State with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting.  Jayna Gronewold had 15 points and 5 assists, and Lindsey Kurz finished with 13 points and 6 boards.  The lady Spartans shot 39% (27-69) from the field and struggled from the 3-point line, making just 18% (5-28) of their tries.

Trinity Bible had four players in double digits, led by 24 from Grace West, who finished with a double-double adding 12 rebounds.  Brenna Amundson scored 17, Abby Molan had 14 points and 7 boards, and Rachel De Campos finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds.  Trinity Bible made 44.4% (24-54) of their field goal attempts and held a slight 36-33 edge on the boards.
