The Henning boys’ basketball team headed to Pillager on Tuesday night to face the Huskies in a Park Region Conference game.  Henning led 33-28 and went on to record a 67-54 win.  It was the first of four consecutive road games on the schedule for the Hornets.

“Good conference win on the road tonight,” commented Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We made enough plays to extend our lead to double digits in the second half.”

Tyson Misegades (19 points, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Mason Hammer (18 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals), Tanner Arndt (12 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals) and Kale Misegades (11 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals) were the leaders for the Hornets.

Henning shot 50% (24-48) for the game.  They also made 15-of-23 free throw attempts.

The Hornets (13-1) have won four in a row and will play at Lake Park-Audubon on Thursday night.

Pillager (7-7) is at Verndale on Friday night.
