Wheaton/Herman-Norcross converted on some high percentage field goal attempts throughout the game Tuesday night as they connected on 48% of their total shots and 59% of their 2-point attempts in a 75-57 win over Canby.  They scored 52 points in the paint and held a 38-26 edge on the boards.

“I thought we worked very hard tonight and won a lot of hustle categories, by grabbing a lot of offensive rebounds, winning the transition battle, and forcing turnovers,” commented Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Head Coach Jordon Roos. “Our defense could have been a little sharper but for the most part was good. We had a great night attacking the paint and getting easy baskets on offense.”

Leading the way for the Warriors were Dylan Bainbridge (29 points, 10-14 FG, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks) and Clint Determan (17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists)..  Andrew Walker chipped in with 9 points.

The Warriors (6-3) will host West Central Area on Thursday and Hancock on Friday.
