Lexi Bright poured in 38 points, dished out 7 assists, came up with 5 steals, snared 4 rebounds and blocked two shots to lead West Central Area to a resounding 106-16 win over Ortonville on Thursday night. Her performance leaves Bright just 24 points away from 2,000 career points.
Three other lady Knights were in double digits, Macy Grosz (18 points, 3 steals, 2 assists), Claire Stark (14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists) and Mya Foslien (10 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals).
Elizabeth Rustan chipped in with 7 points, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 boards, Kaitlyn Hansen contributed 5 points, 4 steals, 2 assists and 2 rebounds, Addison Staples had 2 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, and Halle Foslien had a team high 4 deflections.
The win was the fourth in a row for WCA, improving their season record to 6-2 heading into a Saturday road game at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
