Lauryn Gravelle led the Wolverines with 13 points. Addyson Gravelle and Summer Pettit scored 12 points each and Montana Carsten contributed 10 points.
“After a slow start I thought we rallied together and picked things up defensively which got our offense going,” commented WDC Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “We had good balance offensively and moved the ball well. It was good to see some of our players play more aggressive and get to the free throw line.”
Wadena-Deer Creek (3-2) is right back at it on Friday night with a home game against Park Rapids.
