“We weren’t able to get much going offensively as the shots just wouldn’t fall,” commented Warriors Head Coach Jordon Roos. “Luckily we put enough pressure on the defense and used those turnovers to get some easy baskets. It was a great night on the defensive side which allowed us to still get the win.”
Hankinson was held to 25% shooting on the night and the Warriors hit just 34% of their shots. Hankinson had 33 turnovers in the game, which led to 30 points.
Clint Determan led Wheaton/Herman-Norcross with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Nolan Wilson added 6 points, Brayden Hohrman had 5 points and 3 assists, Brayden Hofer led the team with 5 steals and Zach Braaten and Caden Spilde each secured 5 rebounds.
