NDSCS was led by Ambah Kowcun (26 poitns, 9 assists), Arthel Massaquoi (17 points, 4 rebounds), Brooke Peters (14 points), Ivane Tensaie (12 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists) and Maile Hunt (10 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists).
M State shot 28.8% (15/52) from the floor and made 11-of-13 free throws (84.6%). Leaders for the lady Spartans were Jayna Gronewold with 26 points and 3 steals and Emily Dehler with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
The lady Spartans take a 3-4 record into the Central Lakes Classic on Friday in Brainerd. They will open play at 6:00pm Friday against Itasca Community College and will play Rainy River at noon on Saturday.
