“We battled through some adversity, foul trouble, and a lackluster first half to grind out a win on the road,” stated Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “Staples-Motley played hard and we didn’t match their intensity early on. Our defensive effort in the second half was much better and we made enough shots to pick up the win.”
Tanner Arndt was held to 2 points but dished out 6 assists, while gathering 5 rebounds. The Hornets shot 42% (21/50) on the night.
“We were fortunate to earn three wins this week and next week we’ll face that same challenge,” added Coach Misegades.
Henning (4-0) will host Sebeka on Tuesday, travel to play Wadena-Deer Creek oon Thrusday and entertain Battle Lake on Saturday afternoon.
