The home team placed five players in double digits, led by 36 points from Derriyon Sam.  Demetrius Torrence scored 26 points, Davionte Davis had 23, and Tahj Jenkins and Jehoiada Goins each scored 14.  Jenkins completed his double-double with 15 rebounds and Davis pulled down 13 boards to also finish with a double-double.  Torrence had a team high 9 assists and Davis chipped in with 6 assists and 5 steals.

M State was led by 41 points from Langston Davis who made 19-of-15 field goal attempts.  He also had 14 rebounds and 4 assists.  Brett Engelmeyer added 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting, making 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.  Mert Taylor contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds, Renell Edwards had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists, and Tyler Loe finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds.

The Spartans will play NDSCS at Wahpeton on Sunday afternoon.
