“This was a nice win on the road for us to finish this three game week to start the season,” commented Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “We played well defensively in both halves as our guys were pretty locked in on that end. We are still looking for more consistency on the offensive end but were pleased with our effort overall.”
Ian Fahje and Timmy Guler led the Vikings with 16 and 14 points respectively.
Pelican Rapids (3-0) will play at Ashby on Monday night, travel to Thief River Falls on Tuesday and will face Hillcrest in Fergus Falls on Thursday.
