Seedorf Leads Otter Gymnasts at DL

The Fergus Falls gymnastics team was led by Aubrey Seedorf as they traveled to Detroit Lakes on Tuesday night for a dual meet which the Lakers won 138.1 to 129.95.  Seedorf was second in the All-Around competition with a score of 33.6.  She also placed second on uneven bars (7.950), third on vault (9.000), fifth on balance beam (8.200) and sixth on floor exercise (8.450).

 

Abigail Strege took third place on balance beam (8.400) and Kellen Frigaard was third on floor exercise (8.800).  Frigaard also took fifth on vault (8.600) and ninth on uneven bars (6.600), while Strege was eighth on the uneven bars (6.950).


Abigail Gronwold ended up tied with Seedorf for fifth on balance beam (8.200) and placed ninth on floor exercise (8.200).  Riplee Saurer placed seventh on vault (8.350), Olivia Trout was eighth (8.300) and Madison Muchow finished ninth (8.200).  Muchow also placed fifth on uneven bars (7.600) and Trout was seventh (7.200).  On the balance beam, Mashayla Mau and Kassidy Papon each scored 7.300 points to tie for ninth place.  Mau also came in eighth on floor exercise (8.300).

Fergus Falls won the junior varsity competition with a score of 123.2 to 121.1.  Here are the JV results by event.
