“This was a good win for our guys on the road,” said Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “We had some stretches where we played solid and some others where it got pretty sloppy, but overall we were happy with the effort we played with. Offensively, we were unselfish and willing to make the extra pass, which was nice to see.”
The Vikings were led by Timmy Guler and Ian Fahje with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Brayden Ecker and Peyton Blakeway chipped in with ten points each.
Jack Garmen paced the Pirates with a game high 26 points.
