The Hancock Owls recorded a 64-24 road win over MACCRAY on Saturday afternoon in Benson. The lady Owls had four players in double figures, led by Kaitlyn Staples with 14 and Karleigh Rohloff with 13. Carlee Hanson and Tori Pahl added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Hancock had a good shooting night, making 53.1% (26-49) of their field goal attempts and 36.4% (4-11) of their 3-pointers. They also held a 34-19 edge on the boards.
Rebound leaders were Pahl and Hanson with 6 each. Isabel Rose added 5 boards. Hanson had a team high 4 assists and Brooke VerSteeg chipped in with 9 points.
Hancock (3-0) will face the West Central Area Knights on Thursday night in Barrett.
