Tori Oehrlein poured in 26 points on Thursday to lead Crosby-Ironton to a 45-27 win over Wadena-Deer Creek in the high school girls’ basketball opener for both teams. The Rangers led 21-16 at the half.
The Wolverines were led by Lauryn Gravelle with 8 points. Madison Packer had 6 and Corra Endres 4.
Wadena-Deer Creek will play at Verndale on Tuesday night and will open their home season on Friday against New York Mills.
