Bulldogs Complete 8-0 Regular Season with Shutout of Parkers Prairie

The Ottertail Central Bulldogs ran for 297 yards in their 28-0 shutout victory over Parkers Prairie on Wednesday night in Henning.  OTC had a total of 322 yards.  Their running attack was led by Calvin Stueve with 111 yards on 18 carries and Mason Hammer with 95 yards on 21 rushing attempts.

Hammer carried the ball into the end zone from one yard out in the first quarter and OTC led 8-0 after a successful two-point conversion.

In the second quarter, Hammer scored on a 6 yard run and Owen Buehler hauled in a 6 yard TD pass from Tanner Arndt, putting the halftime score at 20-0.

A one yard run by Stueve and another successful two-point conversion gave the Bulldogs a 28-0 lead after three quarters.

Arndt completed 4-of-7 passes for 25 yards and Buehler caught three of the completions for 21 yards.

The Panthers finished the game with 151 total yards, 77 rushing and 74 passing.  Parkers Prairie was hurt by three turnovers in the game.  Stueve had an interception, while Hammer and Drew Johnson each recovered a fumble for the Bulldogs.

The win completed a perfect regular season for the Bulldogs, who are in line to receive the number one seed in the Section 6A playoffs.
