Finkral Records 1000th Career Dig as Cowgirls Improve to 19-0

Riley Finkral recorded her 1000th career dig during a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-16) Breckenridge win at Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday night.  Riley had 976 digs going into the match, needing 24 digs to reach the 1000 milestone.  Finkral is the first Cowgirl volleyball player to reach 1000 digs in the history of the program.  She’s the third Cowgirl volleyball player to reach a 1000 milestone, joining Margaret Wilson and Brooke Busse who each recorded 1000 career assists.

In addition to Finkral’s 24 digs, the Cowgirls were led by Abby Johnson (8 kills, 12 digs), Carcie Materi (117 set assists), Camryn Kaehler (12 kills,1 5 digs, 3 aces), Sophie Larson (20 set assists, 4 digs), Tori Undem (7 kills), Ana Erickson (4 kills) and Lauren Beyer (5 kills).

Breckenridge (19-0) will host Perham on Thursday night.
