Brandon-Evansville visited Park Christian School in Moorhead on Monday night and started out the night on an 11-0 run in the first set of their match, going on to post a 25-17 win.  The Chargers won the second set 25-15, but the Falcons came back strong with wins in the next two sets before B-E was able to put the match in the win column with a victory in the fifth set.

“PC played much better during sets 3 and 4, but we had opportunities to take advantage of their mistakes and didn't,” reported Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Kelly Olson.  “Give credit to them, they kept pushing us and at times we didn't handle it very well.  The fifth set was better with our ball control and serving.  If we are going to be competitive each night we have to know that success only comes from being consistent in all areas.  Overall, a good match that the players had fun playing.”

The Chargers were led at the serving line by Taylor Yeats (18/19 serving, 2 aces), Sydney Schaefer (28/30 serving, 2 aces, EmmaLee Brethorst (12/15 serving, 5 aces), Olivia Otto (12/14 serving, 1 ace), Kendall Hoidahl (15/16 serving) and Kaytlyn Pattrin (12/12 serving).  Kylee Dingwall led the attack with 15 kills and Yeats added 13 kills.  Yeats also had a team high 22 digs.  Schaefer had 36 set assists and 17 digs.

The Chargers will host Rothsay Tuesday night in Evansville.
