Otter Boys Host 62nd Annual John Hermes Invitational
Fergus Falls hosted its 62nd annual John Hermes Invite on Thursday at the Pebble Lake Golf Course. It took several hours to get the meet started with many weather delays. When the weather decided to cooperate with the event the schedule had to be modified to get everyone on the course before darkness also became a factor.

“Despite the whirlwind of changes and emotions, we had a decent evening of running,” said Head Coach Derek Meyer of the Otters. “First up was the middle school race, the boys finished 3rd as a team.”

“The next race was a combined 5k with varsity and JV runners,” said Meyer. “We needed this format as a team today. We had a few runners out and others that had issues during the race. Our varsity boys placed fourth.”
