Alexandria paid a visit to Fergus Falls for the Annual ‘Dig Pink’ night on Thursday at the Kennedy Secondary School Gold Gymnasium.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lake Region Cancer Care and Research Center.  The Cardinals took care of business with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-7) victory over the Otters.

“We came out tonight ready to play, but lost our momentum going into the third set,” said Head Coach Sabrina Noon of the Otters.  “We had some good rallies and Alexandria did a good job of mixing up the offense.  Alexandria made some good defensive plays and we just couldn’t bounce back.”

The Otters were led by Jenna Carlson (1 ace, 2 kills, 1 block, 10 digs), Tori Ratz (3 assists, 5 kills, 5 digs), Karyssa Eberle (9 set assists, 4 digs), Ariana Noplos (3 kills, 1 dig, 1 block), Avery Knutson (5 digs, 2 aces), Olivia King (4 kills, 1 digs) and Emma Stans (2 digs, 1ace).

Next up for the Otters is a home dual with Rocori on Thursday, September 30.

No Alexandria information was received.
