For the second week in a row, Bailey Marty of the M State lady Spartans was named the MCAC Southern Division Defensive Player of the Week. This is the second straight week that Marty has received the award. She was also named NJCAA Division III Defensive Player of the Week last week.
The M State libero received the honor this week after digging 94 balls in 13 sets last week. Marty leads the MCAC with 179 digs and is second in digs per set with 7.16. M State is undefeated in MCAC Southern Division play at 3-0 and has a 4-3 overall record.
