The Hancock volleyball team fell behind two sets to none against Dawson-Boyd on Monday night, however, the Owls rallied for a 3-2 victory.  Dawson-Boyd won 25-16, 25-17 to get the lead, and Hancock won the final three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 16-14.

“I am so proud of the girls for never giving up and always digging deep,” commented Head Coach Kortney Ejnik.  “We started off a little slower than we would like but the girls did great keeping their composure and fighting for each point.  Misti Zempel had a great game and continues to improve.  Carlee and Rylee Hanson served very well throughout the night but especially in the final game to 15.  Tori Pahl had some key tough serves at crucial times which helped shift the momentum. The team stayed together until the end and everyone executed when they needed to.”
