The Fergus Falls girls’ soccer team played to a 2-2 overtime tie with St. Cloud Tech on Monday.  “Tonight’s game was our best game of the year,” stated Head Coach Ben Jurgens of the Otters.  “We passed the ball well and we were making some runs off the ball creating offensive opportunities, taking the ball to the goal hard.  We still have improvements to be made but tonight was certainly a step in the right direction.”

Tech scored 7 minutes into the game from a 30 yard shot to make it 1-0.  Piper Andrews then tied the game with an outside shot from the left side into the back right corner of the net.

Yana Prischmann put the Otters in front with 8 minutes left, crashing the net from her left mid position off a pass from Andrews.  Tech tied the game on a breakaway with two minutes left, forcing overtime, which was scoreless.
