“The girls were very excited to get their first win of the season,” said Battle Lake Head Coach Jenny Roisum.  “Our defense continues to improve while our serve receive is still a bit rocky.  The Battlers still need to clean up their unforced errors.” 

Grace Van Erp led the Battlers with 37 kills, 9 blocks, and 21 digs.  Ady Tysdal added 15 kills, 26 digs, and was 44/46 serving.  Sophie Akerman dished out 39 assists and had 21 digs.  Morgan Malone was 29/29 serving and added 8 kills.  Anna Bellig had a solid day with 5 kills, 2 blocks and was 18/20 serving. 

The Battlers will host two matches this week after a long road stretch.
