"We continue to get faster and stronger with every meet,” commented Border West Head Coach Brittany Erickson. “Our Junior High runners have seen a lot of success and improvement in the three meets that we have had. They have to adjust with each meet because there is not a set distance for their race and it's harder to see that improvement at times.  Our varsity runners continue to shave off time.  At Milbank, we saw a lot of state runners from South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota.  Just watching the race, you wouldn't have thought we were running fast, but when the splits and times came in, we were flying.  We have LPGE on Monday and then we are off for two weeks. We'll use the time to rest, take care of any injuries, and then gear up for a busy homecoming week with three meets."
