“The St. Cloud Tech team has long been a team to come out on top of our CLC and section 8AA,” acknowledged Fergus Falls Head Coach Jamie Lill. “They graduated some key players, making this year's match up look exciting for our crew.  However, we just didn't take advantage of it tonight.  The windy conditions were not ideal for our style of play, especially doubles, but we looked pretty flat on the court in many of these matches.  We'll regroup at practice and try again Thursday against last year's section champions, Brainerd.” 

The Otters had some nice JV wins from the doubles teams of Madison Lien/Ava Hastings and Sirii Smedsted/Ali Bredenberg along with a singles win for Ruby Ellison. 

Singles:
1. Paige Tarrolly (C) defeated Madison Anderson (FF) 6-2, 6-2.
2. Ella Marohl (C) defeated Isabella Abrahams (FF) 6-2, 7-5.
3. Olivia Baverly (C) defeated Amber Anderson (FF) 6-3, 6-0.
4. Brooke Wilfong (C) defeated Clara Stephan (FF) 6-1, 6-2.

Doubles:
1. Isabelle Anderson/Abby Brown (C) defeated Mackenzie Krava/Leila Nasri (FF) 6-2, 6-1.
2. Kylie Starren/Anne Miller (C) defeated Cyntreya Lockett/Ashtyn Lill (FF) 6-1, 6-1.
3. Mia Marsh/Hannah Anderson (FF) defeated Jenna Amundson/Brooke Benson (C) 6-4, 6-2.
