The West Central Area lady Knights posted a 3-0 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Thursday night.  As a team WCA struggled with their serving game, but Whitney Westrom was the exception as she went 18-for-18 with a pair of ace serves.

“We had a difficult night at the service line, missing 10 serves in three games,” said West Central Area Head Coach Missy Foslien.  “Despite the poor night at the service line the girls pulled off another win, but it wasn’t the performance they wanted.  It was a hard game to find flow and consistency.  Whitney’s serves were on tonight and Kaitlyn Hansen (11 digs) did very well on defense and in serve receive.”

Macy Grosz had 22 set assists and kill leaders were Mya Foslien (11), Elizabeth Rustan (6), Halle Foslien (4) and Whitney Westrom (3).  Rustan added 3 blocks.  Sophie Sanstead had 8 digs.

West Central Area will travel to Ashby next Thursday to face the Arrows.
