With just over five minutes in the half freshman Allie Haabala put a ball behind the DL defensive line for Ella Westlund to run onto, fight off the DL defense and find the back of the net. With just under a minute in the half, Allie Haabala beat the defense on the right flank, drove to the goal line, and cut a pass into the box for Westlund to put the Cards up 2-0.

30 seconds into the second half: Nice combination between Sophia Korynta and Greta Oldenkamp set Greta up to beat the defender on the left flank, drive to the goal line and cut a pass back for Ella Westlund to make it 3-0 and earn the hat trick. Final goal came when Elle Heydt put a pass behind the DL defense for Sophia Korynta to run onto and score her first of the season to make it 4-0. In the second half, DL got behind the Alex defense and GK Sophia Vinje timed her move off the line perfectly to break up the attack.  Vinje finished with 5 saves in goal for the Cardinals.

The JV team recorded a 9-0 win over the Lakers, as Camree Miller and McKenzi Jurachenko each tallied three goals.  Abby Fabre and Aubrey Johnson combined on the shutout in net.
