The Fergus Falls boys’ soccer team traveled to Crookston on Saturday and brought home a 4-1 win. Jayden Manteufel started in net for the Otters and stopped 8 of 9 shots in the game. Leighton Buckmeier played the last fifteen minutes in goal and stopped all 3 shots he faced.
Shane Zierden started the scoring with assist from Josiah Vigessa. Aiden Shern followed with an assist going to Anders Anthonisen-Brown, then Jose Rodriguez recorded an unassisted goal. Shern rounded out the scoring with his second of the game, on a corner kick with an assist from Zierden.
Crookston won the JV game, 4-3. Jadan Heikes, Francisco Rodriguez and Marshall Fellbaum scored the goals with Fellbaum’s coming on a corner kick.
