Ottertail Central scored 3 runs in the seventh inning but it wasn’t enough as the Fergus Falls 13U baseball team held on for a 7-4 victory on Saturday. Micah Johnson (5.2IP, 2H, 1R, 6K) was the winning pitcher and Hunter Powers threw one-and-one-third innings in relief.
Fergus Falls had eight hits in the game with Rowan Cheshire going 3-for-4 at the plate.
Ryan Despard, Stetson Knutson and Kale Misegades each drove in a run in the seventh inning for OTC. Collin Lukken led Ottertail Central with two hits in three at bats.
Ayden Olson (4IP, 5H, 5R, 2K) took the loss for OTC.
Ottertail Central will play Breckenridge Sunday morning at 11:00am with the winner playing Fergus Falls. All three teams will be playing in the State Tournament next week.
