Otter Baseball Team Loses in Thief River Falls

Fergus Falls traveled to Thief River Falls for a high school baseball contest on Thursday and the Prowlers beat the Otters by the score of 10-4.  Fergus Falls scored twice in the fifth inning and got their final two runs in the seventh.  The Prowlers led 6-4 after five inning but put some distance between themselves and the Otters by pushing across four runs in the sixth.

Fergus Falls managed only five hits on the day.  Ian Stumbo drove in two runs with a single, Cole Zierden delivered an RBI single, Carter Thielke had the only extra-base hit, a double, and the other two hits came from Andrew Johnson and Kaden Conklin.

Thielke (4IP, 5R, 4ER, 5H, 2K, 0BB) was the starting and losing pitcher.  David Horgen (1.1IP, 3R, 3BB, 1K, 0H) and Aric Heacox (23, 1H, 2R, 0ER, 2BB, 1K) came on in relief.

Fergus Falls will travel to Sauk Rapids for a double header on Friday, closing out their regular season schedule.
