Winning pitcher Lane Dilly pitched a complete game for the Ottertail Central Bulldogs on Thursday as OTC posted an 8-2 win over Barnesville. Dilly struck out four, didn’t walk a batter, allowed six hits and two runs in his 7 innings on the mound.
OTC had 13 hits in the game, led by Gavin Pausch who went 3-for-4. Tyson Misegades, Jayden Harig and Cian Buehler had two hits each. The Bulldogs stole eight bases in the game, led by Misegades with three.
“This was a great win for us tonight,” said Head Coach Ryan Hendrickson of OTC. “We get to end the regular season feeling good and we look to start our play-in game vs Barnesville at Perham. I am excited to see how we react to playoff baseball as a young squad.”
The Bulldogs will face Barnesville in Perham at 3:00pm Tuesday with the winner playing top-seeded Perham at 5:00pm.
