Thief River Falls scored six first inning runs, added eight in the second and put five more on the board in the third inning on Tuesday as they breezed past Fergus Falls 19-4 in a high school softball game at DeLagoon Park. The Prowlers had 13 hits in the game.
Kellen Frigaard and Tori Ratz each delivered a double for the Otters. Ratz, Karyssa Eberle and Laci Strom each had one run batted in, while Eberle, Ratz, Madi Budke and Ashlyn Eckhoff each scored a run. Budke also had a stolen base.
The loss puts the Otters final season record at 7-12.
