The Rocori Spartans won a Central Lakes Conference double header from Fergus Falls on Tuesday at American Legion Field at DeLagoon Park, winning 17-8 ant 6-5.

In game one, Rocori scored in every inning but the first.  Catcher Tanner Rausch knocked in four runs with a homer, a double and a pair of sacrifice flies.  Cam Miller delivered a single, a triple and four RBI.  The Spartans had 16 hits in the contest.  Fergus Falls had 12 hits, led by two each from Ian Stumbo, Carter Thielke, Aric Heacox and Abel Aho.  Heacox hit a home run and DH Sam Sorum drove in a pair of runs for the Otters.

The Otters took a 3-0 lead in the second game on a solo homer by Heacox in the second inning and a two-run blast by Heacox in the fourth.  A five-run sixth inning gave Rocori a 5-3 lead.  A single, hit batter and walk filled the bases with two outs.  An error kept the inning alive and brought home the first Rocori run.  A two-run single by Rausch tied the game at 3-3.  A second error allowed two more runs to cross the plate, giving the Spartans a 5-3 advantage.  Fergus Falls tied the game on an RBI single by Heacox and a sacrifice fly by Aho in the top of the seventh.  In the bottom of the inning Jaydon Phillipi led off with a double and was sacrificed to third by Jack Spanier.  The Otters issued intentional walks to Brady Blattner and Connor Clark to load the bases.  After a strikeout of Brady Linn for the second out of the inning, Cam Miller drew a walk, forcing the winning run in from third base.

Carter Thielke (6.2IP, 7K, 6H, 6R, 1ER) took the loss for the Otters.  Leading hitters were Heacox (4-4, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 2R), Aho (2-3, SF, SB, RBI), Thielke (1-3, BB, R) and Cole Zierden (1-2, HBP, R).

Fergus Falls (2-10) will host East Grand Forks on Saturday in a double header.
