Fergus Falls scored three runs in the fourth inning to take a 5-4 lead against Willmar on Tuesday afternoon at DeLagoon Park.  The Otters added a run in the fifth and took control of the game with a 7-run sixth inning as they went on to post a 13-5 victory.

“Our bats came alive tonight,” said Head Coach Lisa Truax of the Otters.  “It was exciting to see solid contact and big hits from multiple kids in the lineup.  After falling behind, we quickly responded on a two-out rally which secured the W for us.”

Fergus Falls had 10 hits and took advantage of 7 Willmar errors in the game.  Leading hitters were Gabby Brimhall (2-4, 2B, 23 RBI, R), Tori Ratz (2-5, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 2R), Karyssa Eberle (1-5, 2B, 2SB, 2 RBI, 2R) and Lizzy Moxness (1-4), 2 RBI, R).  Laci Strom and Kellen Frigaard each contributed a double, and Rylynn Krein stole a base.  Krein (7IP, 4H, 5R, 3ER, 8K, 6BB) was the winning pitcher.
