Fergus Falls traveled to Little Falls on Friday afternoon where they played baseball games against two different opponents.  The Otters faced Little Falls in their first game of the day and came up short, 5-1.  In game two, Detroit Lakes defeated the Otters, 13-3.

In the first game, Little Falls led 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when they produced three unearned runs on a walk, a sacrifice and 3 errors.  Fergus Falls outhit the Flyers 7-5, however, the errors and walks made the difference in the game.  Losing pitcher Carter Thielke walked 7 batters and recorded 7 strikeouts in four and a-third innings.  Thielke led the Otters at the plate with two hits in three at bats.

Fergus Falls led 3-1 after two innings in their game against the Lakers, however, DL scored four in the third, one in the fourth, four in the fifth and three in the sixth to walk away with a 10-run win.  Ian Stumbo (4-4) and Thielke (3-3) were the hitting leaders for the Otters.  Kaden Conklin (4.1IP, 6R, 5ER, 10H, BB, 0K) took the loss on the mound.

"I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but our pitchers need to attack the zone, our fielders need to make the plays in the field and our hitters need to drive in runs," said Head Coach Kevin Pearson.

The Otters will host Rocori in a Central Lakes Conference double header beginning at 4:00pm Tuesday at American Legion Field at DeLagoon Park in Fergus Falls.
