Otter Girls Track and Field Team Hosts Rocori
The Fergus Falls girls’ hosted Rocori in a track and field meet on Thursday.
“Tonight brought many great personal bests in cool windy conditions,” reported Fergus Falls Head Coach Niki Welde. “Emily Nuss led the Otters with season bests in the 300 Hurdles and 1600. She ran a gutsy 1600 to win that race. Ashlyn Fronning ran a commanding 100, winning that event in a tough field of Rocori Sprinters. Svea Smestad again won both shot and disc, standing out in the CLC and Section. She Was the CLC Track and Field athlete of the week last week.”
