The Fergus Falls Boy's Track and Field team competed at Moberg Field in Detroit Lakes Tuesday afternoon in a duel with the Lakers. The day was a welcome warmer spring day with a high of 60.  “As soon as the gun fired the Otter boys were ready and willing to give their best, as a team we had 30 season best performances and 2 relays with improvement,” said Head Coach Derek Meyer. “All others had consistent times and distances to their previous season bests.”

The 4x800m relay consisting of Conrad Lobb, Tommy Erickson, Jaden Miller, and Logan Bredenberg, had a nice performance placing first, dropping 30 seconds off their previous time.

The 4x100m relay consisting of Jordan Lee, Keisen Wick, Owen Babolian, and Isaac Job, ran for a 1st place finish. They meshed well as a team and dropped time from last meet to position them well to be competitive in the section,” stated Meyer.  “Overall I am very happy and proud of what these boys. They continue to get better every day and that is the goal.”

The Otters will be back in action Thursday, April 29th at Home against the Willmar Cardinals.
